Recently Unexpected Use for Our Wetbag
We’re a pretty beachy family and we love our techy gadgets, especially our
smartphones. The dilemma, beaches and expensive phones don’t really go
together. Well actually the opposite is true, sand and smartphones have a sort
of magnetic attraction and we’ve ruined numerous phones over the years because
of this.
Lately, we’ve attempted to preserve our phones by placing them in plastic
baggies, in my purse, in a beach bag and so on. Where there are three kids,
there will be sand and no matter what I do someone seems to find a way to shovel
sand where it’s not supposed to be shoveled.
Enter the wetbag.
Most have nifty snap handles which can be used to hang them from our beach
umbrella, canopy, chair, cooler and whatever else you have that you can attach
it to in order to keep it off the ground. It’s thin, I can still hear my phone
ringing inside, yet it’s waterproof. It’s zipper closure is totally awesome and
ensures that no matter how high the sand is thrown, and believe me they know how
to throw sand, it’s not going to just magically land inside the bag and on my
PHONE!
I had retired my wetbag along with my cloth diapers
and when I realized that I could have been continuing to use it all along I was
relieved. Not only does it protect our phones when at the beach, it keeps our
wallets, keys and any other items that we need to take care and not get wet or
sandy, safe.
Just another reason why wetbags
rock!
